Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University Establishes Faculty of Foreign Languages and Tourism

Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University has established the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Tourism. The new faculty aims to train qualified individuals and increase scientific studies in the field of tourism.

Faculty of Foreign Languages and Tourism Established

On May 15, 2025, Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University (EBYÜ) established the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Tourism through Presidential Decree No. 9818. Speaking about the new faculty, Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University Rector Prof. Dr. Akın Levent stated that Erzincan has great potential in nature and winter tourism. He emphasized that establishing academic units to support this potential will further strengthen the university's role in regional development.

Furthermore, Rector Levent highlighted the significance of the National Tourism Congress to be held in Erzincan in October 2025 as a great opportunity for the promotion of the city and university. He expressed that the faculty will contribute to the city and university's promotion alongside the congress.

Additionally, Rector Levent noted that the new faculty is directly in line with the university's internationalization goals. He stated, "Quality education in tourism, as well as foreign language education, are essential. Our faculty will establish a strong academic structure in both fields, and our graduates will become competent individuals in the industry. Our efforts will continue rapidly to make it a center that contributes to Erzincan's outward-looking vision."
