SEY Foundation Provides Scholarships for Children in Need
Semra & Enver Yücel (SEY) Foundation has launched the scholarship application process for the 2025-2026 academic year, offering around 80 million TL in scholarships that will span 8 years for children starting kindergarten or first grade. Established in 2020 to promote educational opportunities and equality, SEY Foundation continues to impact the lives of hundreds of students.Providing Support to Students in Need
SEY Foundation, with hundreds of scholarship recipients, will provide full 100% scholarship support for the first time this year to students starting kindergarten or first grade, covering not only school fees but also basic educational needs such as meals, stationery, and digital tools.SEY Foundation President Hüseyin Yücel stated, "Equality in education is our fundamental goal. Therefore, this year, we are offering 100% scholarships to children from families struggling with unemployment or minimum wage. We believe that every child has the right to access quality education without any need for success criteria or exam results."Motivated by the Success of Scholarship Recipients
Hüseyin Yücel added, "Our work will continue to contribute to our students and thus to the future of our country. The opportunity we provided to 500 students after the Kahramanmaraş earthquake was our greatest test. Seeing the success of these young individuals is our greatest motivation."SEY Foundation Vice President Begüm Yücel emphasized the impact of education on changing lives, stating, "A good education can change not only a child's future but also that of an entire family and society.
