Heavy Crowds at Sultangazi Yayla Cemetery

On the first day of the Ramadan Feast, visitors flocked to the Sultangazi Yayla Cemetery to visit the graves of their loved ones. The road to the cemetery experienced heavy traffic due to the large number of people. Traffic came to a standstill at times, forcing people to walk for long distances. Both pedestrian and vehicle congestion were observed.

Arriving at the cemetery with difficulty, visitors prayed at the graves of their relatives and cleaned the surroundings. The traffic on the road to the cemetery was captured with a drone. Cihan Aslan expressed, "The traffic is beautiful during the feast, this is a special beauty. Happy feast to all of Turkey."

Murat Tik mentioned, "The intense rush of people is a beautiful one. They are visiting the graves of their relatives. My mother has passed away as well. I came to visit her. May this tradition continue for generations." Hakan Taşçı, the headman of Habibler neighborhood, noted, "The two largest cemeteries in Istanbul are within the boundaries of our neighborhood. There is a lot of traffic. Let's stay calm in traffic. Wishing everyone a blessed feast."
