TRAGEDY İN NİZİP: TWO CHİLDREN PERİSH İN HOUSE FİRE

In a tragic incident in Nizip, Gaziantep, a house fire claimed the lives of two children aged 1 and 3. The fire broke out in a building on Karakoç Street in Belkız Neighborhood. It is alleged that the children were alone at home while their mother was at the market when the fire started. The blaze, believed to have originated from a stove, quickly engulfed the entire house. Upon noticing the smoke, neighbors immediately called the emergency services, and health, police, and fire brigade teams were dispatched to the scene. The responders managed to extinguish the flames and discovered the lifeless bodies of Müslüm Saçkesen (3) and Aras Saçkesen (1) inside the house.

The bodies of the two siblings were taken to the Gaziantep Forensic Medicine Institute, while it was revealed that their father was incarcerated at the time of the incident. An extensive investigation has been initiated into the tragic event.
